SBCR launches ‘Every Member Get A Member' campaign

Two members of We Care Team will each win a 32-inch TV

The month of May is Every Member Get A Member month at Shreveport-Bossier Community Renewal.

The Renewal Team is asking each We Care Team member to get one other person to join the team. And to provide a little extra incentive, there is a wonderful prize for the new member and the person who recruited them.

Have a friend fill out a We Care card and put your name on the line that says "Referred By." On the SBCR web site, go to the Renewal Team page and click on "Join the Team" to complete a card online.

In early June, SBCR will conduct a drawing, randomly picking one We Care card. The new member and the member who referred that person will each win a new 32-inch flat-screen LCD television. (Participants must be 16 or older and should live in the greater Shreveport area. Winners will need to come to the SBCR offices to claim their prize.)

If you are not currently a We Care Team member, join the We Care Team and then sign up someone else. As a We Care Team member you can sign up as many new members as you wish to increase your chances of winning. 

The Renewal Team raises the visibility of caring persons and connects individuals, businesses, churches, civic groups, governments and others to build a safer, stronger, healthier city. To date, more than 24,000 people have joined the We Care Team.

Shreveport-Bossier Community Renewal is a nonprofit effort to restore safe and healthy communities through caring relationships. Founded in 1994, SBCR reaches at-risk youth through Friendship Houses built in impoverished neighborhoods, strengthens education through the Adult Renewal Academy, partners with The Fuller Center for Housing and connects caring partners who turn their neighborhoods into safe havens of friendship and support.
