There are many ways to help bring renewal to the community, including these:
- Help care for a neighborhood garden
- Tutor students at the Adult Renewal Academy
- Sign up We Care members at events like the Red River Revel
- Demonstrate a skill like gardening or sewing
- Provide refreshments for a Friendship House event
- Teach a session on healthy nutrition
- Assist with a class on parenting skills
- Help paint a house for a resident in one of our target neighborhoods
- Join in a neighborhood cleanup project
- Put on a puppet show for inner-city children
- Assist with mailings and other office work
- Collect children's books from your friends for the Friendship Houses
- Help as needed at the Friendship House with after-school programs
- Mentor a high school student in the Operation HOPE program
- Read to children at the Friendship House
- Help spread the good news of Community Renewal International
